To begin 2023 we are releasing a new plugin called Personal Development Log and numerous new features, improvements and bug fixes to the existing plugins My Team, Learning Pathways & RoadMap.
Over the past few months we have been working at mitigating any possible schedule task delays, improvements on page load speeds and lots of improvements to our existing plugins which are listed below.
Introducing default display options for Learning Pathways.
You are now able to select the default display dropdown options for Filter, Sort order and Expanded or Collapsed view.
Some organisations may introduce several Learning Pathways to their people at once, leading to the Collapsed view being preferable. Other members may only want to display Learning Pathways with Due Dates or that are Incomplete by default. You can now decide what the default should be for learners. When making this change you can also reset the user preferences for all users to override any previous preferences.
These optional settings can be found within Site Administration -> Learning Pathways -> Configuration Settings.
Hide the block when there are no Pathways allocated This setting will decide if the block should be hidden when there are no Learning Pathways allocated or if it should display with a message stating there are no Pathways available.
Display Filter
All: Displays every Learning Pathway a learner has been allocated.
With Due Date: Displays only Learning Pathways which have a due date.
Not Completed: Displays only Learning Pathways which have not been completed.
Completed: Displays all Learning Pathways a learner has completed.
Sort Setting
Pathway Name: Ordered by Alphabetical Pathway Display Name
Due Date: Displays in order of the closest due Learning Pathway.
Display Mode
Expanded: Ideal for showing a few Learning Pathways with multiple resources.
Collapsed: Ideal for showing several Learning Pathways with fewer resources within.
The ⓘ has been moved to the right for consistency throughout different Pathway Item types.
Courses still use Progress Bars to display progress.
Activity Modules use activity completion checkboxes which match what users see within a course.
Course Sections use Progress fractions which match what users see within a course.
The Progress will show all modules with activity completion tracking, although the section will be 'complete' once the modules which are linked to the course completions have been completed.
Courses have a coloured bar on the left and use 'coursecolor1' (Site Administration -> Appearance -> Course Card Colours)
Course Sections have a coloured bar on the left and use 'coursecolor2' (Site Administration -> Appearance -> Course Card Colours)
Activity Modules are depicted with their correct icons.
The Information popup ⓘ for sections clearly states what specific modules need completing if the section criteria has not been met.
